Dr. Darlene Lundberg Eslick

As a native of the Philadelphia area, her undergraduate degree was in the Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania while at Temple University she also taught at the collegiate level while achieving her Master’s degree in Biology. She then spent four years doing research in the Thrombosis Center at the Medical School at Temple University, where she was published in fifteen scientific publications in the field of Thrombosis, before going on to Veterinary School at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine.

An avid Eagles fan, she is also a supporter of the Phillies, Flyers and 76er’s. She spent her summers on the shores of the Chesapeake and there ingrained her love for turtles, which persists today. She also has a love for classic cars, particularly Corvettes. She loves swimming, snorkeling and scuba and can never get enough of the beach.

As a caring Veterinarian, Dr. Darlene Lundberg Eslick has graduated cum laude and the top of her class. She received her Doctorate degree in veterinary medicine from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia and has been practicing animal health care for 23 years. Her alma mater was the first university in the USA to offer an education in psychological approaches to veterinary patients.

As is always the case, we rely on underlying medical disorders first before we attribute any patients with psychological disturbance. As a distinguished veterinary surgeon, Dr. Darlene Lundberg Eslick and love of animals prides herself in understanding and caring for her patients from the smallest of complaints up to and including emergency procedures.
